Privacy

This website is deliberately simple. It has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and it collects as little about you as it can.

Visiting this site

  • The pages are static. They run no JavaScript, set no cookies and load no analytics, tracking or advertising code.
  • Fonts and images are served from this site, not from other services.
  • Cloudflare hosts the site and provides its secure connection. Every request passes through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver and protect the site, under its own privacy policy.

Merchandise launch list

This site used to let you ask to hear when merchandise launched. Sign-up has closed, and this site no longer collects email addresses. If you joined the list:

  • Your address is held by Buttondown, the service that runs our mailing list. This site never stored it.
  • One list serves this site and the Slightly Better Trivia website. We email you only about merchandise launches and shop updates from Slightly Strange Studios and Slightly Better Trivia, such as a new collection going on sale. Our launch emails do not track whether you open them or which links you click. We never sell or share your address.
  • Every email has an unsubscribe link, or write to hello@slightlystrangestudios.com. Unsubscribing stops our emails. If you ask, we delete your address from the list entirely.
  • Buttondown, LLC is based in the United States. When you signed up, it received your address and the technical details your browser sent with the form, such as your IP address, browser and device details, and the website you signed up on. It keeps a record of your sign-up and confirmation, under its own privacy policy.
  • The list is not meant for children under 13. If you think a child has signed up, tell us and we will delete their address.

Emailing us

If you write to hello@slightlystrangestudios.com, we receive your message, your address and anything you include. Our email is hosted by Fastmail, which stores it under its own privacy policy. We use what you send only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.

Links to Slightly Better Trivia, our shop on Fourthwall, Ko-fi and other sites are ordinary links. Those sites apply their own privacy policies only if you follow them.

Your choices and contact
